There’s a wide array of doorbell cameras on the market, with brands such as Ring and Arlo offering a range of different designs.

Arlo Video Doorbell is the best video doorbell on the market right now. Slim and stylish, it displays super-detailed footage with a 180-degree field of view and 1:1 aspect ratio. It’s one of a handful of doorbells that integrates with Alexa, Google Assistant, and HomeKit.

The Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 doesn’t have as high a resolution or 1:1 aspect ratio as Arlo’s video doorbell.

Full integration with Amazon Alexa means you can use an Echo speaker to announce a doorbell press and converse with whoever is on the doorstep.

The Nest Hello video doorbell records at 1920 x 1080p resolution, and records unlimited video for 30 days with a subscription. Ring’s battery-powered smart doorbell has a larger footprint than the Video Doorbell Pro, but it continues to offer many of the same great features.

The Eufy Video Doorbell 2K has the highest resolution of all the doorbells tested. It records super-detailed video and doesn’t need a monthly subscription, so you can keep two weeks’ worth of footage on-board.

The Ring Video Doorbell Wired is the brand’s most affordable video doorbell. It records clear Full HD video and audio, but has a slightly narrower 155-degree field of view. Video doorbells are available in both mains-powered and battery-operated options.
